God knits You

Posted by Pastor Christopher Hull on

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." (Psalm 139:13-16).

God is the one that knits us in the womb. He is the one that fearfully and wonderfully makes us. Whenever you are anxious. Whenever you are worried, stressed out by the chaos and unpredictability of life, remember this truth. God is the one that knit you, and He is the one that keeps you. No matter what how the world may bother you, no matter how the devil tempts you, and no matter how much the Old Adam doubts God's love for you, this truth remains that God knit you and will carry you from womb to tomb to life eternal in Jesus. When you find yourself troubled and worried, which, if you're like me, is on a daily basis, then pick up Psalm 139 and read even these few verses and may the Holy Spirit bring you the assurance that you are loved by a merciful and gracious Father in Heaven. God knit you in the womb, and He knows your days, that they are eternal in His Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord.

Peace be with you. May the devil be silenced, the world be hushed, and the Old Adam be drowned anew so that you hear only the peaceful voice of your Savior Jesus who says, "I love you. I forgive you. I claim you as My own forever," Amen,
