There are many opportunities for the children and youth for fellowship both inside and outside of the worship services.

Sunday School

Sunday School is available for ages 2 through high school. All ages start together in the Sunday School Opening room upstairs in the Family Center. Please feel free to stay for adult bible study downstairs while the kids continue their study upstairs. 

Vacation Bible School

Thursdays in July, 10am-12pm

Our VBS meets once a week and we find that this works well for families who may have other commitments during the summer. If you can’t make it one week, we’ll  see you the next! It also provides an opportunity to reach families who visit the Zion Family Boutique on Thursdays. Mom or Dad can shop while the little ones learn about Jesus and make new friends. Our volunteers also enjoy a less stressful summer as there is more time between lessons to prepare.

This year’s VBS theme puts special emphasis on catechesis, hymns, and liturgy. Kids will enjoy a Bible Lesson, Catechism Lesson, and Hymn lesson, along with a snack, games, and crafts that reinforce the lessons each week. Come and make a joyful noise for the Lord! All ages are welcome. We recommend that parents of toddlers stay and enjoy it with us.

High School Youth

Our high schoolers meet about once a month for fellowship events. They're also involved in many of the church events throughout the year.

Acolytes and Crucifer

Children from age 8 through high school are welcome to serve as acolytes during the service. Older kids may also serve as crucifer. If your child is interested, please contact the head Elder to discuss acolyte training or be added to the schedule.
